Description

Traditional Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

Knit a timeless kitchen essential with this traditional tea cosy knitting pattern, designed to keep your teapot warm while adding a classic handmade touch to your home. This pattern creates a traditional tea cosy (tea cozy) shape that fits on the teapot, making it both practical and decorative.

The tea cosy is worked in Aran (worsted / 10 ply) weight yarn and the pattern includes instructions for two sizes, making it suitable for both medium and large teapots. Whether you’re knitting for everyday use or creating a thoughtful handmade gift, this knitted tea cosy is a satisfying and useful project.

The traditional tea cosy knitting pattern uses simple shaping and traditional construction, making it suitable for confident beginners as well as more experienced knitters who enjoy classic designs. The finished cosy provides excellent insulation to help keep your tea warm for longer.
