Over The Rainbow: Colour Block Sweater
This is the knitting pattern PDF (not the finished garment) for a child’s raglan sweater worked in stripes of chunky yarn.
The kids sweater knitting pattern is worked from the neckline – on a set of 5 double pointed needles (or use circular needles). Being a top down sweater the length of the body and the sleeves can be adjusted to fit .
The sweater can also be made using oddments of chunky yarns, or of course as a plain sweater.

1(1,1,2) x 100g balls of Simply Chunky by Paintbox Yarns in shades—Dolphin Blue (336), Mustard Yellow (323), Blood Orange (319), Vanilla Cream (307), Spearmint Green (325).

To substitute: use any standard Chunky weight yarn with a given tension of 14 sts and 20 rows to 10 cm square on 6 mm (US 10) needles – this info is on the ball band label for details.
OR use oddments of yarn (details as above) totalling approx. 300(350,400,450) grams
1 set of 5 x 6 mm (US 10) double pointed needles.
Optional Circular needle no 6 mm (US 10) needle length 60 cm
(bamboo needles recommended for the dpns)
Stitch markers and coloured thread to mark stitches.

If you are buying a crochet pattern you will receive 2 files – one in UK terminology and one in US terminology.
