Oddment of contrast for the embroidery. (or use embroidery silk)
1 set 5 x 4 mm (US 6) double pointed needles.
1 set 5 x 5 mm (US 8) double pointed needles.
Optional Circular needle no 5 mm (US 8) needle length 60 cm
(bamboo needles recommended for the dpns)
To substitute: use any standard Aran weight yarn with a given tension of 18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm square on 5 mm needles – see ball band label for details
