Rosy Posy: The Girls Jersey Pinafore Dress
This is a little girls dress sewing pattern PDF (not the finished garment) for a girls jersey pinafore dress with pockets. The pattern also includes the tunic dress pattern with embroidery.
This pinafore dress can be worn alone or with a t shirt under. The girls jersey pinafore dress pattern features large pockets on the sides of the dress and gathered cap sleeves. The shorter tunic option can be worked in a small gauge gingham with embroidered roses for that personal touch. Charts for the cross stitch embroidery are included.
The pattern is for children ages 3 – 12 years.

Features for your Sensory Child

Materials
You Will Need:
For the long version 2 meters of Rose printed fabric (as shown in photo) from Spoonflower.com as specified on our website at www.ruthmaddockmakes.com
OR (1.2,1.4,1.4,1.4,1.8,1.8,1.8,2,2,2) meters of ANY medium weight (200gsm) jersey fabric. 152 cm (60 in) wide.
OR 1.5(2,2,2,2.5,2.5,2.5,3.5,3.5,3.5) meters x 112 cm (45 inches) of any cotton fabric– e.g. cotton poplin.
For the short version 1.25 meter x 112 cm (45 in) of Cotton Fabric (Chambray) for the skirt and pockets – all sizes. AND 1.25) meters x 112 cm (45 inches) of mini cotton gingham.
Embroidery threads for the optional embroidery.
Velcro for fastening.
Sewing kit including zig zag sewing machine. Matching polyester sewing thread.
Ball point or regular sewing machine needles — change these needles frequently.
Fine line vanishing fabric marker.
The Paper Sewing Pattern includes making instructions leaflet and will be sent by post – P&P will be added at checkout.

The zipped file contains 4 PDF files – these are;
1) The pattern in PDF format. You can print this in US Letter size or A4 paper size. You will need to stick the pieces of pattern together. The pattern contains layers for the different sizes.
2) The pattern in A1 or A0 size . This can be printed in Black and White at your local or online copyshop. You wont need to stick the pattern together as it will be printed on one sheet.
3) The pattern as a projector File. The projector file contains layers for the different sizes.
4) The Making Instructions which comprise of complete photographic instructions to make the garment. This can also be printed in US Letter size or A4 paper size.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open the pattern files.
